Meet Sheida
SHEIDA WHITE was born in Tehran, Iran. She received her PhD from Georgetown University in 1986. She directed five high-profile national assessments of literacy at the US Department of Education until her retirement in 2018. Her books and peer-reviewed journal articles in the field of literacy have been cited by scholars across the globe. Along the way, she also became a ballroom dance champion.
Her accomplishments would not have been possible without an abiding faith in God (akin to the One Consciousness), which for her, began in childhood. Intuitively and instinctively, she recognized that there is something of a divine nature within all of us that is far deeper than what we experience through our senses.
More recently, inspired by the teachings of Mohammad Ali Taheri, she used her scholarly skills to write this book. She writes with clarity and from the heart, imparting a simple yet profound message: We are all part of the grand symphony of the One Consciousness, conducted by the Divine Intelligence. This profound sense of oneness, which is often accompanied by a deep sense of awe, wonder, and humility, is ineffable. But, if we are attuned to it, we can feel its effects.
Would you like to interview Sheida White for your publication or invite her to write a guest post for your blog? Want to share your own story of connecting with the One Consciousness? Maybe just want to say a happy hello?
